The division of Kinesiology and Life Sciences believes an educated person is a whole person. The faculty endeavor to instill in each student an understanding of life and an appreciation for living. We want to ensure our students’ comprehension of life is not a substitute for living. To that end, we encourage students to cross disciplinary boundaries, broaden the scope of their studies, and develop as an individual.
The mission of the Kinesiology and Life Sciences division is to develop a scientific learning community that prepares students for life in a global environment, offer practical experiences and leadership opportunities which prepare students for careers in kinesiology, health, and life sciences, and to develop and maintain rigorous academic programs consistent with recognized professional standards.

Professors use hands-on approaches to complete the learning experience, giving students a true sense of what they are studying. The new science wing on the third floor of the PAC is an exciting addition for this division. The state-of-the-art technology and space have provided a learning environment for students to get the education they need to accomplish great things with their degrees.
