Applied Technology

Applied technology is the new frontier of the 21st century. Never before has the world seen such a rapid pace of innovation in fields like engineering, computer science, information technology, and industrial technology, among many others. The mission of the Applied Technology Division is to expose students to the power of possibility in these areas of study, and position them to use technology to bridge the gap between theory and application.

Preparing Students for a New World

Employers and graduate schools today are looking for individuals who bring more than technological knowledge. They’re looking for  adept individuals who are equally proficient at communicating, team building, and creative thinking, and have a solid theoretical foundation in the arts and humanities.
That’s the experience waiting for you in the Applied Technology Division at William Penn University.

Digital Impact Team

We are seeking students who are passionate about technology, come from a variety of backgrounds and interests, and who like to have fun for the Digital Impact Team. Students who are selected have the opportunity to develop their skills as they positively impact their communities and receive a world-class education.

Student Profile

Collin Baliva was recently able to combine his experience as a Lacrosse player and Industrial Technology major for a project that directly benefitted students and athletes. Collin was part of the INDU 218 class that created 50 custom lockers for an update to the Lacrosse locker room. As a captain of the team, he was able to recruit fellow teammates to help in various aspects of the project. “It was important to me that the team helped and did not just stand by while others put in countless hours on something that was a benefit to the Lacrosse program.”
