Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Student Work-Study Studio Monitor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the film studio. This role includes maintaining a safe and organized environment, assisting students with studio equipment, and ensuring adherence to studio policies. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor studio access and ensure that only authorized students and staff use the facilities.
Maintain a clean and organized studio environment, including regular cleaning and equipment maintenance.
Assist students with the operation of studio equipment and provide technical support as needed.
Ensure compliance with all studio safety guidelines and report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Track and manage inventory of studio supplies and equipment, and report any shortages or malfunctions.
Provide support for studio events, workshops, and exhibitions as required.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of studio spaces for classes and events.
Perform administrative tasks such as answering emails, updating schedules, and maintaining records.
Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and students to address any studio-related issues or concerns.
Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications:
Must be a current student eligible for the work-study program.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with email and Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and move around the studio for extended periods.
Manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment.
