Student Profile: Christian Williams

Senior Christian Williams hails from Oakland, California but has found a home here in Oskaloosa at William Penn University. Christian says he has overcome things in his life that many others would’ve given up on. “Trust the process and keep going no matter what,” he says. “Life will get better.”

Christian transferred to WPU from Humboldt State University after two years of education there. He has since been an honor roll student, maintained an internship, won a Conference Championship with the William Penn University Football Team, and developed his leadership skills as the Kinesiology Club President. When asked why he chose William Penn, Christian said, “The coaching staff took a chance on me and they were the first ones to give me the chance.”

Now well on his way to earning a Bachelor’s of Arts degree for Sports & Recreational Management/Kinesiology, Christian has stacked on a Business Management minor to enhance his resume. Upon graduating with his BA in May 2018, he plans to continue his academic journey as a graduate assistant for a Division I or Division II football school.
