Technical Emphasis
Provides a strong “hands-on” foundation in manufacturing, energy and power, graphic communications, and construction technologies, along with mathematics and applied computer science. Graduates will be ready for careers demanding a high level of technical ability and skill.
Secondary Education with Industrial Technology Endorsement
William Penn University is the only private, four-year liberal arts institution in Iowa to combine a professional educational program with a major in industrial technology. Graduates of this state-certified program are qualified to teach industrial technology in grades 7–12.
Management of Technology Emphasis
Combines an industrial technology major, business management minor, and a strong emphasis in applied computer science and digital communications. Graduates are prepared for leadership roles where skill in managing technology and people are essential.
Engineering Technology Emphasis
Has a strong focus on engineering, mathematics, physics, and applied computer science, in addition to the industrial technology foundation. Graduates apply technology in the field of engineering through calculations, theory, and hands-on machine operation.
