Applied Technology Summer Camp

Sign up now for the Applied Technology Summer Camp, from 8:00 a.m. to noon from Monday, June 24, 2024, to Wednesday, June 26, 2024, and from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024! The camp is designed to assist in working with technology – solve problems, design solutions, make several hands-on projects. Registration is limited to 20 participants of ages from 11 to 14, and each registration will cost $175. The deadline for registration is Friday, June 14, 2024.

The schedule is as follows:

• Monday – 7:30-8:00 check in MTC
  • Computer Aided Drafting
  • Start CO2 Dragster Design
• Tuesday
  • Manufacturing Safety
  • CO2 Dragster Prototyping
• Wednesday
  • Manufacture CO2 Dragster
• Thursday
  • Finalize CO2 Dragster
  • Additional completion time from noon-5:00 pm
  • Judging – 5-6 pm
  • PAC – 6-8 pm
    • CO2 Dragster Competition
    • Award Ceremony

Students can arrive as early as 7:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 12:30 p.m.
