Area Businesses Invited to William Penn University Community Fair
07/14/2017
The start of a new school year at William Penn University also brings with it a new population of patrons for local and area businesses. To help students learn more about what local businesses and organizations have to offer, William Penn University will hold it’s annual Community Fair on Thursday, August 24, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. in the Penn Activity Center (PAC) on the Oskaloosa campus. This event presents a tremendous opportunity to introduce new and returning William Penn University students to local Oskaloosa businesses and organizations.
Those who choose to participate are encouraged to provide information about their business or organization, give-away items, coupons and/or the opportunity for our students to register for prizes. Businesses interested in reserving a spot may contact William Penn University Communications/Event Coordinator Hailey Brown at 641-673-1078 or by email. Each business/organization who registers will be provided a table and chairs for their use. In addition, lunch will be provided, compliments of WPU Student Services.
“Just like last year, we wish to encourage a great student turnout for this event,” said Brown. “Therefore, lunch for our students will be served in the PAC at the Community Fair. There is no charge to vendors to take part in this fair. However, please RSVP early as space is limited. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you on August 24.”
