Human Trafficking: Technology’s Role

A group of students from William Penn’s Communication Theory and Ethics class will be hosting a public speaking event regarding technology’s role in human trafficking. This event will be located in the Ware Auditorium in the Penn Activity Center (PAC) on Thursday, April 12, beginning at 6:00 p.m. , Lead Program Specialist for the Teens Against Human Trafficking at YSS (Youth Standing Strong), will be presenting about technology’s role in facilitating, combatting, and preventing human trafficking.
YSS is a United Way funded agency dedicated to giving children, teens, and young adults the opportunity to find their voice, make healthy choices, feel safe and secure, learn life skills, heal with compassion, grow their confidence, and ultimately—stand strong.
