Tree Memorial Ceremony Scheduled During Campus Beautification Day
04/20/2018
Every semester on the William Penn campus, Campus Beautification Day is organized for students, organizations, staff, and faculty to join together to spruce up the Oskaloosa campus. Campus Beautification Day is slated for Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10AM. This year, there will be a tree planting ceremony in memory of student, Marquis Todd.
The memorial tree has been graciously donated by the Mahaska County Special Olympics team, with many members being present for the memorial and to help tidy campus.
The day’s activities will begin at 10:00 AM near the George Daily Pavilion on the center of campus. Shortly after the start of activities, the tree planting ceremony will be held at 10:20 AM, on the lawn between the Penn Activity Center (PAC) and the Musco Technology Center (MTC) building.
