The South Skunk Watershed Project invites area landowners to a Virtual Field Day, live on the South Skunk Watershed project Facebook page, on June 29, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. Get a first-perspective view of how the DeBruin family farm integrates cover crops with their cattle operation to increase profitability. There will be a Question and Answer session with live video featuring Jake and Doug DeBruin, directly after a previously recorded informative video.

The Green Iowa AmeriCorps-Mahaska Partnership consists of the Mahaska County Soil & Water Conservation District, the City of Oskaloosa Public Works Department, and William Penn University. A Mahaska County Community Foundation grant provided the original match to help fund full-time and summer members for Land & Water Stewardship projects for the partnership.
