JOB TITLE: Graduate Assistant Online Program
JOB SUMMARY: William Penn University strives to create a vibrant learning

QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education Bachelor’s Degree required
B. Experience Background in your assigned Graduate Assistant area
C. Abilities • Demonstrated talent in building cohesive teams.
• Independent decision making and ability to exercise good judgment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member to complete
assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
• Organizational skills, time management, relationship building, and
communication skills are essential.
• Willing to work flexible hours.
REPORTS TO: Online Director
SUPERVISES: Assigned students
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Student Support
A. Communication: Act as the first point of contact for student inquiries via email,
phone, or online platforms. Respond promptly to student questions, concerns, and
requests for assistance.
B. Orientation: Assist in the creation and delivery of online orientation materials for new
students. Guide students through the online learning platform and familiarize them with
course expectations and resources.
C. Advising: Provide academic advising and support to online students, helping them
navigate courses and the use of services.
Online Program Coordination
D. Resource Development: Contribute to the development and updating of online
program resources, such as handbooks, guides, and instructional videos.
E. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of student enrollment, attendance, and
performance. Assist with data collection and reporting for program evaluation.
Engagement and Community Building
F. Events: Organize and participate in virtual events, workshops, and webinars to engage
online students and foster a sense of community.
G. Communication Channels: Manage online communication channels, such as
discussion forums and social media groups, to promote interaction and collaboration
among students.
H. Networking Opportunities: Assist students in connecting with peers, alumni, and
industry professionals to enhance their learning experience and career opportunities.
I. All Other duties as assigned.
EVALUATION: Performance will be the responsibility of the Online Director
