Chad Seader, Ph.D. (ABD)

Assistant Professor of English

Chad Seader became a member of the WPU faculty in the fall of 2018. He takes an interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning. For instance, in his developmental writing courses, he uses multi-group projects and techniques from drama and playwriting to teach fundamental principles of technical communication.

Reflecting his commitment to advocacy and community engagement, Chad also brings years of service-learning experience to William Penn from past collaborations with New York University’s Prison Education Program, (Re)emergent Theatre in New York City, and the Redhouse Arts Center in Syracuse.

When he’s not working with students, Chad enjoys community theatre, slam poetry, cycling, and camping.
