Your resident assistant is a fellow student who has been selected to assist you with adjustment to college life. He or she will be available to answer questions about campus services, lend a helping hand during move-in, listen to your concerns, and be a friend.
Hall directors are professional staff members who live in the residence halls. They are responsible for initiating, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating the residence life program that provides opportunities for maximum educational, social, cultural, spiritual, and interpersonal growth for the individual resident.
The Director of Residence Life is a professional staff member who provides overall direction for areas of residence life, including: overseeing the residence halls and their staff, disciplinary issues, judicial board, compliance with university, state, and federal requirements, and works in connection with the director of buildings and grounds and campus security.
