Support the Business Faculty and the Department
Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
Position Summary: The Work-Study Assistant provides essential support to faculty members by assisting with administrative tasks, research projects, classroom preparation, and other academic responsibilities. This role is designed for students who are currently enrolled in the institution and eligible for the federal work-study program.

Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support:
o Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and office hours.
o Manage and organize files, records, and documents.
o Handle correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
2. Classroom Support:
o Help prepare classroom materials, such as handouts, syllabi, and presentations.
o Assist with the setup and breakdown of classroom technology and equipment.
o Manage and update course websites and online learning platforms.
3. Student Interaction:
o Serve as a liaison between faculty and students, providing information and support as needed.
o Help coordinate student activities and events related to courses and research.
4. Special Projects:
o Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the faculty member.
o Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to discussions on academic matters.
5. General Duties:
o Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
o Adhere to all university policies and procedures.
o Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled as a student at the institution.
• Eligibility for the federal work-study program.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Schedule–Days & Times
Hours are flexible during the day.
Hourly Wage
$10.00
